Our Minimum is $100. Having said that you can get a very nice tattoo for $100. The minimum is a standard charge in Tattoo Shops that cover basic set up costs. The fee varies from shop to shop, anywhere from $80 to $200 on average. If you are curious if the design you have in mind falls within the minimum range, please reach out to us.
We’ve compiled a small portfolio of tattoos that cost around the minimum charge.
There are many different ways to heal a tattoo. Some are quite involved and others are as simple as doing nothing. We prefer something in between.
For small and average sized tattoos we use something called Saniderm. It is a thin, clear, adhesive bandage that is kept on for a few days. This allows the tattoo to heal under the bandage, and alleviates the scabbing, peeling process of healing a tattoo. In addition if used properly it it blocks any bacteria from effecting the fresh tattoo. If kept on the recommended amount of days the tattoo will be roughly 80% healed. A few days applying a quality, fragrance free hand lotion is recommended after the bandage is removed The Saniderm works great, it keeps the healing process simple and is perfect travelers.
Well, parking is a b!&(h. Simple as that. Most of Chinatowns main streets are metered parking, which is free on Sundays and after 6pm. Most meters have a 2 hour time limit, however there are plenty of 15 minute, Commercial, and 5 minute loading restrictions depending on time of day. Sacramento St is one of a few streets that has Rush Hour parking whereas from 3:30/4:00 pm to 6:00pm parking is restricted. The signs can be misleading. When street parking is is important to read the signs thoroughly. I cannot stress this enough.
There are a few parking garages in the area. Portsmouth square garage is highly recommend, it is located on Kearney st and Clay st. just two blocks from the shop. It is worth a few extra dollars for peace of mind.
