Walk-Ins?Appointments?

We are a Walk-In friendly shop. You can walk in and walk out the same day with a lovely tattoo. Obviously this is on a first come first serve basis. Best case scenario you can be tattooed right away, otherwise we will have a waitlist and we will give you an estimated time. It’s generally best to call the shop first to make sure we have availability.

The absolute best move is to call us right when we open at noon, we will give options on available times and solidify you a spot.

The Minimum?

Our minimum is $100. Having said that, you can get a very nice small tattoo for $100.

The minimum is a standard charge in tattoo shops that cover basic set up costs. The fee varies from shop to shop, anywhere from $80 to $200 on average. If you are curious if the design you have in mind falls within the minimum range, please reach out to us.

We’ve compiled a small gallery of examples.

Aftercare?

There are many different ways to heal a tattoo. Some are quite involved and others are as simple as doing nothing. We prefer something in between.

For small and average sized tattoos there is an option of something called Saniderm. It is a thin, clear, adhesive bandage that is kept on for a few days. When it works, Saniderm works great. It keeps the healing process simple and is perfect for travelers. However a small percentage of people are allergic to the adhesive in it, so we only use it selectively.

General rule of thumb is we use the tried and true method of bandaging your tattoo, and having a cleaning and moisturizing regimen using lotions or an ointment. This is something that your artist will go over with you thoroughly after your session is complete. In addition you will be provided with written instructions and contact information before leaving. You will leave with a complete understanding of what’s expected of you to heal your new tattoo.

Parking?

Well, parking is a b!&(h. Simple as that. Most of Chinatown’s main streets are metered parking, which is free on Sundays and after 6pm. Most meters have a 2 hour time limit, however there are plenty of 15 minute, Commercial, and 5 minute loading restrictions depending on time of day. Sacramento St is one of a few streets that has Rush Hour parking whereas from 3:30/4:00 pm to 6:00pm parking is restricted. The signs can be misleading. When street parking is is important to read the signs thoroughly. I cannot stress this enough.

There are a few parking garages in the area. Portsmouth square garage is highly recommend, it is located on Kearny St. and Clay St. just two blocks from the shop. It is worth a few extra dollars for peace of mind.
